Acton Children’s Business Fair

In 2007 Jeff and Laura Sandefer wanted to spark a sense of wonder and entrepreneurship in their children. With the help of a few other families, they created the first Acton Children's Business Fair in Austin, Texas. The Sandefer's enjoyed their first Children's Business Fair so much, they knew they had to share it. The Acton Children’s Business fair is a gift from the Sandefer family, who founded the non-profit Acton Academy network, for young entrepreneurs around the world.

At Solid Foundation Learning, we are passionate about the fact that PLAY is Learning! Imagining a new product, designing its features, creating it from scratch, and creatively promoting it is the MOST AMAZING kind of PLAY. We are anxious to meet your creative kid and get him or her started on the journey to entrepreneurship! Kids will develop a brand, create a product or service, build a marketing strategy, and then open for customers at our one-day marketplace.

This event is inspired and supported by the Acton Children's Business Fair, as well as the generous support of our donors and volunteers. We all believe that entrepreneurship THE KEY to engaging, educating, and empowering youth!
